Andy McMahan capped off a remarkable season with one of the best overall games of his CWL career in the '06 all-star game. "Mac" got the start for the visting all-star team and tossed two solid innings of two-run ball. Mac also had seven hits in nine AB's with three homers and six RBI's. With his stellar performance, McMahan was named the game's MVP.

Josh Cartwright relieved "Mac" to capture the win in the game despite not having his best stuff in his two innings. Cartwright allowed three runs but managed to keep the game in hand to earn the win in the first CWL all-star game. Cartwright also had a nice day at the dish, going 7-11 with a home run and three knocked in.

Jake Catlett took the loss for the visiting squad, allowing six runs on seven hits. Catlett pitched the first two innings but looked nothing like the pitcher who won six games with a sub-four ERA in the regular season. Though he didn't pitch well, Catlett was stroking at the plate. Catlett had six hits in nine at-bats with two homers and four runs batted in.

Cody Burgiss and CWL champion Brandan Cofer combined to pitch the final three innings in relief for Catlett and allowed a combined nine runs on 14 hits. Cofer, however, had a great day at the plate, going 9-9 with two home runs and eight runs batted in. Cofer also scored four runs.

Barney Cofer came in to close the game out but allowed seven runs in the final frame to let the home club back in the game. With a 15-5 lead, the home club came roaring back on a Brandan Cofer grand slam and a Catlett two-run homer to close the gap to three but were unable to get over the hump and win the game in their final at-bat. Depite the bad pitching, Barney Cofer collected seven hits and drove home six runs in the game.
