Offense Offensively, TNT is one of the more vulnerable teams in the CWL. TNT has good contact hitters, but the team lacks the big-time boppers needed to put big run totals on the board, nor do they have the bats to climb back into games in which they're facing a substantial deficit. To be successful offensively, TNT needs Burgiss to have a break-out year, and for rookie Joey Rue to step up and perform like a veteran, both have the ability to do so. Pitching Pitching is easily TNT's strongest area. The combination of Cofer and Burgiss makes up one of the better 1-2 punches in the CWL. Both have top-notch stuff, but it's the players after Cofer and Burgiss that have to step in and provide those guys with relief from time to time. Rue looks to have the arm, and could be the answer the team needs in terms of pitching depth. Defense TNT sports a good, not great, defense. The entire team has decent hands and should make the routine plays to keep the games close. Burgiss and Cofer, however, can both make highlight-reel-type plays on occasion. The question is: will either see much time in the field with the team's lack of pitching depth?
